My super anxious and afraid, 80lb dog needed to be completely sedated for his work-up. I've been to other vets who attempt to talk me out of it as if they know my dog of nine years better than I do. Extremely frustrating. But Animal Hospital in Main understood completely and agreed it was the best course of action so the dog, and by extension, me, wont be any more traumatized than need be. Needless to say, all went beautifully and I am so grateful! No second guessing and no judgement, just caring. Great place and great people!
