I always try to get referrals for the important stuff - hair salons, doctors & dentists for the kids and as a new puppy owner, veterinarians. My neighbor didn't disappoint and I couldn't have been happier with our first visit to Animal Hospital of Statesville on Main St. in Troutman. Very personable office staff who were engaged and pleasant from the initial phone call to schedule an appointment. The great customer service continued upon arrival as everyone said hello with smiles and quickly took us back for our appointment on time. The visit was quick but informative and I never felt rushed. The focus was on our new fur baby and any questions or concerns I might have. I was also pleased that staff was open to spreading vaccinations over an appropriate period of time that doctor and I agreed upon rather than forcing too many too soon. I also appreciated the follow up to make sure I was satisfied with my visit. Highly Recommend.

I want to thank everyone at AHS in Statesville for the excellent caring service that we received in having to say goodbye to our Furbaby Cairo this past week. They are absolutely the best. I cannot begin to tell you what excellent and caring people work with and serve your beloved pets at AHOS. Our 13 year old dog, German Shepard & Husky mix, was a patient there for his entire life and had help with bladder infections, sprained leg, aggravated bee sting, and reg care visits. Most recently, he developed cancer and had to be put to sleep, which was one of the hardest things a pet owner can face. The workers at AHOS were so kind, caring, and cried with us, as we shared that moment. Trust me, you can trust them.

My super anxious and afraid, 80lb dog needed to be completely sedated for his work-up. I've been to other vets who attempt to talk me out of it as if they know my dog of nine years better than I do. Extremely frustrating. But Animal Hospital in Main understood completely and agreed it was the best course of action so the dog, and by extension, me, wont be any more traumatized than need be. Needless to say, all went beautifully and I am so grateful! No second guessing and no judgement, just caring. Great place and great people!

We have just started using Statesville Animal Hospital and have been very impressed with every aspect of services. From puppy care of our fosters, to surgery for mama to a nail tr visit, the attention by ALL personnel has been outstanding. Animal Hospital of Statesville truly impressed me. I brought my dog Violet in for ongoing diarrhea after our primary vet had already tried medications without much success. The team here took things a step further and ran a full blood panel, which our previous vet never did. Once the results came back normal, they recommended starting a food trial to help figure out the root cause instead of just sending us home with more medication. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere and overall ambiance of the clinic is also an experience on its own very clean, calm, and professional. I left feeling like they genuinely cared about finding answers for my dog. Safe to say, Violet and I have found our new vet. 🐾

They took really good care of my dog. I thought I was going to have to put her down. The doctor and staff told me let's try this first it's the cheapest route. So we did and took my dog home and next few days with the medicine they gave her and sent home with me she back to normal. Best and caring place to take your animals if you really care about them!!! Wouldn't go anywhere else!!!
