Our initial vet visit for our dog was amazing. We recently moved to Statesville and were nervous about finding the right practice for our Miniature Schnauzer but we are very pleased with the expertise and level of care shown to our little one. Such a compassionate staff. Jess is the best! We recently had to say goodbye to our best friend Moses (Mo; Mo-Mo) and everyone from our first phone call to our last goodbye with Mo was more than we could have ever expected. I have been with Statesville Animal Hospital for almost 30 years. They have always treated my dogs and cats as more than just pets, but truly as the family members they are. The compassion, dedication, and love that they treat my fur babies with is astonishing. They are always concerned with making their patients as comfortable as possible and are willing to do what is necessary to help even the most nervous pets...or in my case, the dramatic ones. Even as my one baby had some pretty serious medical issues, being a probable brain tumor, they were always understanding and open to do whatever was needed to try and extend not only her life, but to preserve the quality of her life. This is the only vet I trust to treat my babies because they always show them the same level of love that I do. Animals are truly angels on this earth and the staff and doctors at Statesville Animal Hospital understand their importance and treat them with all the love they deserve.

Thank you Statesville Animal Hospital. This office is amazing! Our Ace was hit and had a dislocated hip. Dr.Cooney was amazing! He worked on Ace and didn't give up. Dr. Cooney and Dr. Pendergrass worked on Ace after office hours and was able to get his hip back in place. My baby has bladder stones and his surgery is coming up. They were so compassionate when I brought him in and the shock of finding out what was wrong was scary. They took time with me and my furbaby and explained the options and really listened. They are all so sweet and caring with the animals and they make you feel and ease. They explain cost of things before they do it and make sure you are happy with it. Would definitely recommend this office and have finally found my forever vet office

This is an amazing hospital and staff. They offer minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery just like a human hospital. This is fantastic for spay and gastropexy. It offers significantly less pain and quicker recovery for our pets. They are amazing!!!

Excellent veterinarian! I, sadly, had to have two of my cats put to sleep. The process was sad, but the staff are caring and are compassionate. They took care of both cats before they were out to sleep. I would recommend them to anyone. I more have a new kitten that I plan on taking there to get her check up. It took awhile to want another cat, but I adore one that was going to be put in a shelter. She's amazing, I am so glad I got her. I will definitely be using this office for her care. Excellent vet!!

I just moved to the area and this will be my vet for life. I brought my elderly cat Belle (a whole 21 years old!) here last week with a cold and it was LOVELY. Everyone was so kind and accommodating for my baby. I believe I was with Dr. LaRoche and she was so sweet, gentle with Belle, and she didn’t heavily sugarcoat reality (that’s personally a positive to me, I feel like it doesn’t give false hopes). She didn’t try to push any expensive tests or medications, just gave me what would help and let it be! I also want to shout out the absolutely incredible techs they have. I unfortunately don’t remember their names, but there was two in particular that I want to give a special thank you for and hopefully they remember helping. Belle desperately needed her nails trimmed and it’s become a difficult task for one person because of her age, she has arthritis and I can’t hold her in a good position to get at her toes. Before the techs came in to trim her nails I heard one of them say “she’s an older lady, so we have to be careful of that” and it just melted my heart. I’ve been so scared to take her to vets as she ages because they don’t take into consideration that she can’t handle as much movement and stress as younger cats, but hearing that and seeing how they treated her made me feel so happy and safe. The process definitely took a bit longer than it normally does, but not once did they try and rush or make Belle uncomfortable. They gave her a break when switching sides, they acknowledged what bothered her and worked around it, they clearly love what they do. So thank you to those techs for being so careful with my best friend. This is a long review, but everyone needs to know that THIS IS THE VET TO GO TO. Thank you to the staff that helped me that day and I look forward to seeing yall again with my other babies!

It is so hard to find a Vet that you and your animals(babies) are comfortable with. I have been taking my Chloe here since she was 6 weeks old. She’s a little over a year now. She actually gets excited to go and see Dr. Christie and the vet techs! Of course, she does like the cheese as well😁 They spoil her with love and hugs. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
