They handled Ghost very well.. We had just rescued him and he was a bit wary of strangers,but he took to the staff easily. The prices are competitive and they explained everything to me. I had called a few other places , but settled with them, in the end... I think they are worth the try.

They’ve been caring for my babies for about 5 yrs now. I have extra large mastiffs (190 lbs) and they handle them very well. They also are great with cats! I have boarded my babies with them from about 7 yrs old to my newest English Mastiff at 5 mos old and the staff is wonderful!! They truly care for our babies and have even gone out of their way to help multiple times with my 5 mo old to get her into the office, console her, and try to calm l her fear of the vet. Have seen multiple docs there and all of them are great. Highly recommend them.

There are not enough, incredible words in the dictionary to describe how incredibly amazing, kind, professional, and caring Dr. Zuecher and the staff are. They have the most loving and kind energy that puts you to ease immediately. They are so knowledgeable that I Make a four hour round trip from my home to go there. It is so well worth the drive. And Then throw in a coffee counter And an immaculate office. I am so impressed with Dr. Zuecher And the staff! I highly recommend you bring Your ferry children to the Animal Hospital Of Statesville. I promise you’ll feel the same way as I do. A big huge thank you to the Dr. And staff for going above and beyond! Back in September of 2022, I had the unfortunate reality of putting my first cat to sleep. This center went above and beyond to give me time with him and made sure he went as painlessly and loved as he was before. Since then, I've gained two more cats, and have made this my go-to for their health needs. From emergency visits for our second sick boy, to just keeping our prescriptions and specialty foods in stock, this is the place to go. They care for your animals, and for you.

I drive over an hour to get to AHS for my eight fur babies. First of all, I love the people there, so kind and supportive. Having been a pet parent of many fur babies for over three decades, and having been to so many vet clinics and hospitals in different states, I can tell that AHS is a genuinely great place. I also love that they have the availability for emergency appointments, since switching to AHS in July 2024, we have been accommodated two emergency visits already: One for my pregnant Chihuahua and the other for my 21 year old cat. I called in the morning and we were fortunate to have been seen on the same day within a few hours. What a difference it makes! I used to call around clinics worried and stressed asking to see if any clinic could squeeze us into their already booked day. We had a primary clinic that we went for four years since moving to Charlotte, they seldom had any openings for emergencies. Totally understand they have to make ends meet so no complaints, it’s just great at AHS we have higher chances of being seen when we really need to and that’s with the familiar staff and doctors at the facility we know. Animal lovers would appreciate this as we have experienced going to an urgent care clinic with a sick buddy, we would be very worried and having to wait for many hours and not knowing anyone there would give us compounded anxiety and stress. Yes, it’s a long drive for me/my animal family, but I am very happy with the caring people, the services they offer, and of course the quality of medical care we have received.

My Husband and I have been bringing our Collie, Jake, here his whole life which he is now 6 years old. We brought our other dog here prior to him for many years as well. We have had nothing but Wonderful experiences and they care a lot about their animals. We have since then moved to Southport, NC and we drive all the way to Statesville to take Our Collie there, whenever he has to go and we will continue to take him there. I wanted to share that in addition to seeing Dr. LaRoche, I had a very positive experience with Dr. Gaither. Theo was having issues pooping, and although this is usually not an issue for cats, she somehow knew to check his anal glands. They were clogged like crazy! Dr. Gaither is also amazing and loved the fact that Theo is great on a harness! The care in this facility is amazing. They have a lot of equipment in house so that they can do the proper testing to put you at ease. Thank you so much Dr. Gaither and Dr. LaRoche! Update: The staff has been amazing to my little Sophie who is now in stage 3 renal failure. Lydia is the head tech, and she was so helpful drawing blood from Sophie's little inner thigh! All of the staff is amazing, and the in house chemistry, electrolyte and cbc machines allowed the doctor to assess Sophie's condition on the spot. Thank you everyone!

Dr. LaRouche is AMAZING! She reviewed Theo’s case and provided a solution. She went through all of his bloodwork results with me. I really loved how she gave him a full physical exam, going over his spine and noticing his musculature and the fact that he had no atrophy. She even appreciated that as a Reiki Master, that I give him treatments. She set up a follow up call to assess his progress. Her bedside manner is warm, and she truly is a gift to this practice! The staff is friendly and they love Theo and his cool harness!
