I just moved to the area and this will be my vet for life. I brought my elderly cat Belle (a whole 21 years old!) here last week with a cold and it was LOVELY. Everyone was so kind and accommodating for my baby. I believe I was with Dr. LaRoche and she was so sweet, gentle with Belle, and she didn’t heavily sugarcoat reality (that’s personally a positive to me, I feel like it doesn’t give false hopes). She didn’t try to push any expensive tests or medications, just gave me what would help and let it be! I also want to shout out the absolutely incredible techs they have. I unfortunately don’t remember their names, but there was two in particular that I want to give a special thank you for and hopefully they remember helping. Belle desperately needed her nails trimmed and it’s become a difficult task for one person because of her age, she has arthritis and I can’t hold her in a good position to get at her toes. Before the techs came in to trim her nails I heard one of them say “she’s an older lady, so we have to be careful of that” and it just melted my heart. I’ve been so scared to take her to vets as she ages because they don’t take into consideration that she can’t handle as much movement and stress as younger cats, but hearing that and seeing how they treated her made me feel so happy and safe. The process definitely took a bit longer than it normally does, but not once did they try and rush or make Belle uncomfortable. They gave her a break when switching sides, they acknowledged what bothered her and worked around it, they clearly love what they do. So thank you to those techs for being so careful with my best friend. This is a long review, but everyone needs to know that THIS IS THE VET TO GO TO. Thank you to the staff that helped me that day and I look forward to seeing yall again with my other babies!

It is so hard to find a Vet that you and your animals(babies) are comfortable with. I have been taking my Chloe here since she was 6 weeks old. She’s a little over a year now. She actually gets excited to go and see Dr. Christie and the vet techs! Of course, she does like the cheese as well😁 They spoil her with love and hugs. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

The medical staff at AHS are professional, kind and caring for our furry family members. Everything the staff does is explained in a manner in which I understand and they are very caring. Summary: -Ariel is fantastic (front desk). Kind, soft spoken, patient!! -I haven’t went to my appointment yet but will update the full experience after I do! -$40 for check-up, $15 for rabies (approx. and + tax)… GREAT price. -Saturday appointments!! -oh anddd, it only took 2 rings for Ariel to answer!!!! Detailed review: I recently moved to Texas and needed to find a vet ASAP since I’m flying out of state at the end of the month. I wanted to get sedatives for my puppy and make sure her vaccines were current, but since I haven’t established care with a vet here yet, I was kind of scrambling. A friend recommended this place, and so far, the experience has been great. I haven’t had my actual appointment yet (I’ll update after), but I had to share how amazing the scheduling process was. I called in for a last-minute appointment and spoke with Ariel—she was incredible. Honestly, some of the best customer service I’ve had in a long time. She was kind, calm, and answered every one of my (many) questions without hesitation or judgment. Everything felt clear and professional from the jump. I was also relieved to find out they offer Saturday appointments. I work Monday through Friday, so that flexibility is huge for me. Ariel told me the check-in fee is $40 and the rabies vaccine is about $15—super reasonable pricing, which makes it easier to stay on top of my pup’s care. Feeling a lot better going into this trip now.

We take all 4 of our pups to AHS (and have for many years) and have had nothing but wonderful experiences! Today was another one of those wonderful experiences! Our blind puppy needed to be spayed- Dr. Zuercher, Diane, Austin, and Ashley made the experience so amazing and fearless for us and our special fur baby! From calling in for the very first appointment to the appointment itself, everyone was very helpful and friendly. You can tell that they really do care about your pets as well as the owners. The vet took the time to answer all of our questions and even some we didn't think of at the time. The outside of the building was very clean and neat as well as everywhere inside was very clean and did not smell of pet urine or feces. They handled Ghost very well.. We had just rescued him and he was a bit wary of strangers,but he took to the staff easily. The prices are competitive and they explained everything to me. I had called a few other places , but settled with them, in the end... I think they are worth the try.

They’ve been caring for my babies for about 5 yrs now. I have extra large mastiffs (190 lbs) and they handle them very well. They also are great with cats! I have boarded my babies with them from about 7 yrs old to my newest English Mastiff at 5 mos old and the staff is wonderful!! They truly care for our babies and have even gone out of their way to help multiple times with my 5 mo old to get her into the office, console her, and try to calm l her fear of the vet. Have seen multiple docs there and all of them are great. Highly recommend them.

There are not enough, incredible words in the dictionary to describe how incredibly amazing, kind, professional, and caring Dr. Zuecher and the staff are. They have the most loving and kind energy that puts you to ease immediately. They are so knowledgeable that I Make a four hour round trip from my home to go there. It is so well worth the drive.
