I can't say enough wonderful things about the amazing staff at the Animal Hospital of Statesville !! From the moment we walk in the lobby and are greeted to the vet techs in the exam rooms and the veterinarians that provide the exams/services -- everyone goes above and beyond to make sure your fur baby is top priority !! They send cards, texts and emails for everything from reminders to follow ups. I love all of the personable things that they do. I can't thank them for all of their kindness and help over the past 10 plus years !

We have been going to the Animal Hospital of Statesville for 10 years now and I cannot say enough about the care and compassion we get from them. Having 18 feline fur babies (that's not a type-o) we have experienced happiness, sadness and everything in between. Every step of the way both the Dr's and staff at the Animal Hospital of Statesville have ALWAYS cared for not only my "kids" but also my husband and I. They all work extremely well together, as a team should. They have the knowledge and professional skills needed for the most difficult situations fur baby parents can go through. We have dealt with cancers, terminal illness, aging "kids", chronic conditions and injury and every single time we have needed the Dr's and staff, they were there for us. They took the stress out of these situations by listening and supporting us and their love for everybody's fur babies shows in everything they do. I look forward to many many years with them!!!!

Always take such good care of my sweet Sadie. Thankful for the compassionate, knowledgeable and wonderful staff from check in to the vets. Update: 12-29-2020 The worst days of life for a pet parent came for me in October. My sweet Sadie passed away at the ripe age of 19. AHS, Dr. Gaither, Dr. La Roche, Dr. Christy and Dr. Cooney himself as well at the vet techs and nurses all took wonderful care of my sweet girl throughout the years I had her. We made it through some really scary times over the past few years and probably wouldn't have if it hadn't been for the wonderful team at AHS. When the worst day came for me and my family, they were nothing short of amazing, understanding and compassionate. Losing a family member is never easy; a wonderful vet office who can help the process be as painless as possible for both you and your baby make all the difference though. I did rescue another dog to give the same life as I did my sweet Sadie and there is no other group of veterinarians I would trust with my baby Joey. I would recommend AHS and the veterinary team to anyone. I send my family members there (my brothers boxer sees Dr. G for congestive heart failure), I send my neighbors there (neighbors dog got attacked by another dog). I truly believe that AHS is the most up to date in knowledge and technology to care for our fur babies. The staff is second to none.

Very caring loving staff. Dr. Cooney is amazing! We have been coming here for years. Update !! we are still coming here , the staff helped us during our recent lost of our beloved Dietrich from cancer! Whom we miss terribly, but we were blessed to added to our family Stryker and are entrusting everyone at this great place with our new family member! The veterinarians and staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The facility is lovely and tranquil. What I like most, is that once you enter the exam room, everything including paying for the service rendered, is done in the exam room. No more waiting in the lobby with other anxious pets to check out.

Staff that genuinely cares, facility can do more than just vet visits including grooming, outdoor playground, and lab work. This is the only place that my wife and I will trust our pets with for sincere and complete care. We recently added a second dog to our family and he loves it here as well.
