I have been served well by The Animal Hospital of Statesville for over 10 years. They have always provided excellent care. I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. I had an experience recently with a very serious health situation with my 14 year old, Bliss. Because of her emergent and ongoing needs for care, I ended up seeing several of the doctors. I felt that the entire team were advising me in the same direction. I also felt that they really cared about the outcome. They provided a circle of support that surrounding us during the scariest experience we've had together.

I recently visited the office for an issue with one of my pets As always, the staff was friendly, caring and accommodating. They were also good with my pet too! 🤣 Anyways, not only were all of my concerns addressed, the staff reminded me of a couple upcoming vaccinations that we were able to address then. Dr. Cooney, his fellow providers and all of the vet techs and admin staff have my thanks for treating my fur-babies so well.

Michele and I have been taking all of our fur baby's to Dr.Cooney. Dr Pendergrass has fixed both rear legs on my male corgie. Everyone of the doctors on staff here are just the best that you could ask for. We live in Spruce Pine and we drive back to Statesville just for this place. If you need a vet for your 4 legged kids you can't find a better place.
